Allana Harkin
Allana Harkin has been nominated for 9 Primetime Emmy Awards for her work as a Director, Co-Executive Producer and Correspondent on seven seasons TBS’s Full Frontal with Samantha Bee where she has directed Sigourney Weaver, Allison Janney, Mark Hamill, Jon Stewart, Jimmy Smits, Molly Ringwald, Jon Cryer, Matthew Broderick, Steve Buscemi and many more. Allana also directed the Emmy-nominated special The Great American Puerto Rico and wrote and directed the award-winning short film The Godmother which played at festivals across North America and premiered on TNT. Most recently Allana was nominated for a Emmy and Producers Guild Award for co-creating and producing the digital short series Pandemic Video Diaries. She started her comedy career as a writer, performer and founding member of the acclaimed Toronto sketch troupe The Atomic Fireballs. As well as starring in numerous television shows and movies she has written for TBS, TNT, PBS, Nick Jr, CBC and CTV.
